The TSP range (Type2 or Type2+3) is designed to protect the instruments and apparatus in hazardous area, this surge protector have very low interference for signal transmission, while Citel high duty discharge tube are capable of withstand Imax=20kA impulses. Parallel circuit design with GDT and fast clamping diodes branches provide high surge current capability and low residual voltage. The whole unit is encased in a 316 stainless steel housing for flameproof function, threaded for the common interface used on process transmitters, the transmitter manufacturers can installed directly without involving any additional wiring, conduit modifications. Six prismatic shape of the housing designed for convenient installation even in narrow space.
